Week 7: Wednesday

 

Materials Review

 

 

1. Get in groups of 4, each one will be an expert in one of these materials: brick, stone, iron & steel and concrete. Prepare a script for an interview where you will ask each other about the characteristics, advantages, disadvantages of these materials, and how they have been used in constructions and urban planning. Be creative

 

2. Post your script to a new Materials review wiki page

 

 

3. Record your interview in Audacity (in mp3 format) and post it to the Podomatic blog.

  • Go to Podomatic
  • Login with the username and password I have given you,
  • Go to Post an Episode
  • Give the podcast a title
  • Write a description of your podcast
  • Upload an image for the podcast
  • Upload the recording

 

4. Make sure you have added new words to the class glossary
